In 1979 as a Convenience Store Owner, Mike Peterson purchased a small service company that specialized in beverage equipment. He noticed an opportunity to provide better service and quickly developed a niche in this industry. Mr. Peterson’s family oriented company evolved into the Kansas City’s premier service organization for Convenience Stores. Mike’s outgoing personality and dedication to success was the hallmark of building a business that spanned over three decades. Many of his customers will always remember him for wishing them a “fantastic day”!

Offering beverage product sales and delivery was an obvious addition to our business many years ago. Today we partner with Pepsi and Coca-Cola as a direct supplier of Bag-in-Box fountain syrup to our customers. Cups, Lids, Straws and other paper goods help our company supply all of your customers beverage needs. This one stop shop for fountain customers has been highly successful. 

In 2013, Scott Denmark purchased Refreshments. New ownership has brought a fresh look to an established organization. Improvements in people, products and procedures have solidified our place in this market. We compete with and outperform billion dollar companies on a daily basis. It is a challenge we all covet. As we move forward we seek growth, we welcome new opportunities and we will always grow those opportunities through daily improvements.
